Location: Hone Foss Waterfall

As Part of the Hone Foss waterfall competition we propose a habitable bridge space spanning across the waterfall. The bridge meanders around the rocks and connect the north and south part of the city via a pedestrian connection. the bridge structure lands on two points above the rocks with minimal impact, the roof of the bridge is made of cross laminated timber and stone quarried from nearby mountain, ensuring a seamless blend with the place. we imagined the interior space of the bridge to open along the route opening up different views to the immediate context and a unique viewpoint to the waterfall.
